The 49th Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition (OFC) successfully took place from March 24 to 28, 2024, at the San Diego Convention Center in California, USA. As the premier global event for optical communications and networking, OFC attracted industry leaders, experts, academics, media, analysts, and students from around the world to showcase the latest breakthroughs in optical technology.

      This year’s conference themes covered cutting-edge technologies such as 800ZR, Coherent PON, Linear Pluggable Optics (LPO), multicore fiber, artificial intelligence, data centers, and quantum networking. The exhibition and technical sessions featured over 620 exhibitors from 74 countries, including prominent companies like Cisco, CIENA, Corning, Infinera, and Marvell.

      Tianjin Wenhao Technology Development Co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition with various fiber optic test instruments. They introduced high-standard designed products such as the PON OTDR, XGPON Optical Power Meter, Wavelength and Frequency Automatic Recognition Optical Power Meter, which garnered significant attention and praise from customers. The atmosphere at their booth was lively, with numerous orders placed on-site.

      OFC 2024 not only showcased the latest in optical communication technology but also featured 12 live demo kiosks through OFCnet, focusing on advancements in quantum technology and next-generation network solutions. Additionally, the conference hosted several special events, including a student party and an OFC Fun Run, enhancing interaction and networking among participants.

      The success of OFC 2024 was made possible by the support of every customer and the hard work of all staff members. The event not only highlighted the current achievements in optical communication technology but also provided new ideas and inspiration for future development.
